Focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club.

ACTIVITY AND SOCIAL

Plans special social events for members, dinners, outings, golf, concerts etc.

FINANCE / BUDGET / TREASURER

Submits quarterly financial reports to Board of Directors. Sends out dues notices. Prepares budget for Board approval. Maintains all club bank accounts and financial records. Prepare IRS 990-N filing.

HOSPITALITY

Prepares for each meeting with front table for sign in. Greets members, guests and visitors. Collects luncheon monies. Conducts 50/50 intercom drawing. Responsible for collection of intercom funds and Literacy Happy Dollars. Sends get well cards to ill members.  Assists those with special needs.

MEMBERSHIP

Recruitment, education, retention and attendance. Prepares packet for prospective members.  Obtains badges and certificate for formal induction at club meeting.  Notifies Rotary Information chairman of new and prospective members.

Compiles news, announcements, birthdays, etc for weekly publication.  Members receive Press via email in PDF format and can access all issues at www.syracuserotary.org.

Oversees Club web site (www.syracuserotary.org) and prepares and maintains electronic equipment owned by the Club.
